Thomas Carroll Appoints Swansea Director

Yogi client Thomas Carroll Group plc in Swansea has announced the promotion of Stephen Francis to the position of Director of its award-winning Independent Financial Advice company – Thomas Carroll IFA.

A member of the Thomas Carroll team in Swansea since 2010, Stephen who was born in Ammanford, has worked alongside Regional Director Robert Jones MBE in developing the Welsh company’s office in the city which opened in 2009.

Stephen Francis now moves up from the position of Financial Consultant to take up his new position on the firm’s board which is headed by Managing Director Mark Eedy.

Commenting on the new appointment, Robert Jones MBE said: “The past seven years have been hugely exciting for us since starting out with a very small team and fledgling client base.

Today we are fourteen people strong, have purchased our own HQ on the Enterprise Park with 1,000 commercial clients and income exceeding £1 million. Stephen’s promotion is richly deserved and reflects his contribution to our continuing success. I congratulate Stephen on his elevation to the position of Director.”

Established in 1972, Thomas Carroll IFA was one of the first Welsh IFAs to achieve Chartered status, awarded by governing body, the Chartered Insurance Institute, and in 2014 was named UK IFA of the Year at the Sesame Bankhall Awards.

We have grown our client base rapidly in the city advising business owners on their personal financial planning and also in key areas such as auto enrolment and employee benefits for their companies.

We are currently recruiting to expand our team, seeking local talent to further develop our business here in Swansea and across to our Haverfordwest office.”
