Llanerch is a stylish Hotel in the Welsh countryside on a vineyard with an award winning restaurant and cookery school.
Llanerch Vineyard recently rebranded to Llanerch with new sub-brands including Llanerch Hotel, Llanerch Vineyard, Llanerch Restaurant, and Llanerch Events. This long-established destination has a strong reputation as a vineyard and cookery school, but the need was to re-launch it following the established of a new on-site hotel.
Yogi joined the team to support and raise awareness of the new brands across social media and to launch the new hotel.
What We Did
Yogi took over the daily management of all social media platforms, implemented a PR campaign to launch the hotel to the media, and also organised the launch event.
Whilst we usually like to evaluate objectively, it is worth noting that on the night Yogi announced the new hotel, Llanerch’s phone lines crashed due to the volume of calls to book!
With a strategic social media mix of content covering all brands, teaser campaigns, monthly competitions, and new designs and improved imagery, the social media platforms are more successful than ever before, attracting a new audience and generating new business on a daily basis.
Yogi not only encouraged thousands of new followers but – crucially – increased average engagement levels from 3.5% to 11% on Facebook, from 3% to 29% on Twitter, and from 6% to 12% on Instagram in just two months. The average reach on Facebook alone increased from 37,700 to 520,400 in the same period.
Yogi is currently working with Llanerch on a cost-effective programme of hand-picked influencer visits to increase online coverage about the hotel and generate unique content relevant to our target audiences, which Llanerch will retain ownership of, allowing it to be used across social media and the website.
