Newport City Homes: Biomass Energy Centre

The Construction of the new Biomass Energy Centre in Duffryn started in April 2015 as planned, and we are pleased to say that the recent bad weather hasn’t beaten them and the project is on target. The project is in partnership with British Gas, and the construction is due to be completed in April 2016. At Newport City Homes, awareness of the new project is directed through an informal leaflet designed to educate the tenants on the benefits of this new investment. The advantages of the new biomass boiler is an environmentally-friendly carbon efficient system, that runs on woodchip.
