Where Life Meets Style

At MAPIC 2017, an event held in Nice that showcases products from the retail real estate industry, Botany Bay retail park launched is latest redevelopment plans for a designer outlet destination.

Yogi Communications worked with DUO 3, London and the team at Botany Bay to help create the stand design based on warehouse colours and materials with Corden and reclaimed wood. Our stand design also incorporated interactive displays and meeting places to reflect the modern warehouse styles that will be used in the redevelopment.

A well-established retail destination in the north of England, Botany Bay is to be refurbished as a 250,000 sq ft designer retail outlet based around a curved pedestrianised street, comprising up to 70 A1 or A3 units.

With the Leeds-Liverpool Canal bordering the site to the east, developers are keen to maximise the waterside location and are considering a canal basin which could be added to the east of the mill building. Potential uses for the mill include offices, a playbarn, a hotel and a café and restaurant area.

When completed, the overall scheme is likely to create more than 1,300 full time jobs for the Chorley area with 200 construction jobs per year over the development period of two years.
