Victoria Beckham, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Preen – just some of the designers that have inspired a brand new range of insulin cooling wallets for those with diabetes.  Our client FRIO UK, makers of the world’s first patented insulin cooling wallet, has been designing and manufacturing its classic range of wallets since 1993 and exports its products globally to over 70 countries.

 

Used by people with diabetes and others who rely on temperature sensitive medicines, FRIO wallets maintain a constant internal temperature of 18-26°C for at least 45 hours. This safe temperature range stops insulin from degrading in extreme hot or cold temperatures, giving those with diabetes the freedom to travel without worrying about the safety of their insulin.

 

As part of FRIO’s continued commitment to design evolution, the company recently launched FRIO Lifestyle which combines inspiration from the fashion world with feedback from existing customers who were looking for something new.    

 

Brand new for 2018, the FRIO Lifestyle range of premium insulin cooling wallets consists of five limited edition designs inspired by Spring/Summer 2018 fashion trends including tropical prints, pastel hues, modern neutral tones and vibrant summer shades of pink, purple and orange. We worked very closely with FRIO to provide our full suite of PR, marketing, web and design capabilities to support the launch of this new product line. We also conducted in-depth market research into the patterns, wallet shapes and sizes that people living with diabetes preferred.     

 

Taking a coordinated approach, we devised a campaign plan with a clear set of key messages and objectives. Our team worked together to produce a FRIO Lifestyle branded section on FRIO’s e-commerce site and employed targeted, innovative PR, marketing and digital tactics to support sales and reach a new audience for FRIO including social media campaigns, e-marketing, influencer marketing, print and digital advertising and social media videos.      

 

Since launching, the FRIO Lifestyle range has resulted in a significant increase in sales and a new audience for FRIO.
