Yogi Communications have been working with Wilcare Group, one of Wales’ largest manufacturers of electric powered rise & recline chairs for healthcare and domestic use, to launch a scheme to giveaway its surplus chairs to deserving causes and people unable to afford specialist furniture.
In addition to the PR, Yogi’s design team created a logo and identity for the Wilcare Chair and Share Campaign. We used illustration graphics and a handwritten typeface to create a more friendly and approachable style to the already established Wilcare identity, giving it another dimension which would be more appealing to the community.
The Cowbridge-based Wilcare Group is inviting members of the public, charities and community organisations to apply for the chairs which it will give away on a monthly basis under its new ‘Chair & Share’ initiative.
Wilcare says that all furniture under the Chair & Share Scheme are new old stock, which has undergone the same quality and safety checks as brand new furniture that leaves its factory. Any defects such as damaged fabric, frames or legs are repaired and the chairs are fully refurbished.
To apply for a donated chair people should nominate the recipient using the online form on the Wilcare website at: www.wilcarewales.com/chair-and-share
Chairs will be released on a monthly basis and the deadline for the next round of donations is 22nd May 2017.
